Low Energy Openers require periodic maintenance to ensure they are operating properly. In most cases, Low Energy Openers utilize "push buttons" to activate the door and they can also be found with sensors for activation and safety though these sensors are not required by law for Low Energy Openers. The difference between Low Energy and Full Auto openers is that Low Energy requires a Knowing Act to activate the doors whereas Full Auto uses sensors to achieve activation.
Typical applications for Low Energy Openers are banks, residential, low traffic buildings accessible to the public, non-commercial buildings, etc.
